About Nikki
I read tarot for people going through transitions, and I write their readings like stories so they can see themselves clearly.
I've rebuilt my own life, and therefore I take this work seriously. The readings are not performance content; they are meant to actually help.
I’m Nikki. I’ve burned it all down and had to rebuild. I don’t do fluffy tarot. I read like it matters and you’re not out of chances.
How I Came to This Work
I didn’t come to tarot through aesthetics or trend. I came to it the way most people who stay with it eventually do: I was in a hard chapter of my own life, I needed something that could hold the whole picture, and tarot was the only language that didn’t flatten what I was going through.
I’ve been reading cards for over a decade. The first years were just for me — a way to think on paper when journaling alone wasn’t enough. The next years were for friends, then friends-of-friends, then strangers who heard about me through quiet referrals. Somewhere along the way I realized the readings people kept coming back to weren’t the live ones; they were the long messages I’d written out afterwards, the ones they could re-read at 2 AM when the feeling hit again.
That is where this practice began. Story-form readings aren’t a gimmick — they’re what actually helps. Spoken readings dissolve. Written readings stay with you, and the right line tends to find you on the day you need it.
Who I Read For
My clients are people standing at a real turning point. I’ve read for people leaving marriages and people deciding to stay. People in their first year of sobriety and people years in, asking what’s next. People rebuilding after burnout, grief, identity shifts, immigration, layoffs, career pivots, motherhood, miscarriage, coming out. The common thread isn’t the topic — it’s that the situation has weight, and they want a reading that meets that weight without performance.
If you’re currently in the middle of a transition, this is the practice I built for you.
How I Read
I read intuitively, with a tarot deck as the primary structure. I don’t use rigid keyword interpretations — the cards are characters and scenery in a story, and the spread is the plot. When I sit down with your context, I’m looking for the through-line: what pattern is repeating, what choice is actually on the table, and what part of the situation you haven’t fully looked at yet.
I work alone, in a quiet room, with paper and the cards laid out in front of me. I draft the reading by hand first, then type and layer it into a PDF. The whole process takes me several hours per reading. That’s the trade-off — and it’s what keeps the work honest. You can read more about the full process here.
What I Won’t Do
I don’t read on someone else’s private life without their consent. I don’t predict deaths or health diagnoses — that’s for your doctor. I don’t spy on third parties or do specific predictive readings about other people’s choices. I don’t do love-coercion readings, “will they come back if I…” spreads, or anything I can’t deliver in good faith. My full ethics and policies are written out here.
I do this work because it’s the kind of work I once needed and couldn’t find. If that’s what you’re looking for too, I’d be glad to read for you. You can see the current reading offerings here, or reach out directly if you’re not sure what fits.
